Here is some history for you. The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) was created in 1943 from the former NBC Blue radio network. It’s first television broadcast was in 1948. ABC’s Wide World of Sports was a sports anthology series that ran from 1961 to 1998 and was originally hosted by Jim McKay. Wide World of Sports was the first program to air coverage of Wimbledon, The Indianapolis 500, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, the Daytona 500, the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the Little League World Series, Triple Crown, and the X-Games, among other sporting events. The series continued to be used for general sports programs until 2006. The series celebrated its 50th anniversary in April 2011. Here is a very rare 100% polyester snapback cap featuring then WWS logo over a Heather Grey crown. The bill is Navy Blue. Catch this while you can at
