GUMBALL 3000 “Pitstop” Snapback Caps & The COA Experience

GUMBALL 3000 definitely belongs on everyone’s bucket list. The annual international road rally of 3000 miles is world wide phenomenon. Entrepreneur, designer and former skateboarder Maximillion Cooper, founded the race in 1999. The Gumball challenge involves over 120 cars, predominately powerful performance and rare exotic types. However you have your occasional odd models in the mix, like a 1963 Volkswagen Camper van. The list of past participating drivers reads like a who’s who of celebrities, including from athletes, actors and musicians. There are no giant cash prizes for the crossing the finish line first. The emphasis is the adventure of one of the world’s most unique event. This past May marked Gumball’s 14th race. The 7 day run from London to Istanbul incorporating the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. The brand has grown organically from its origins as a notorious car rally, into a successful global lifestyle and entertainment group. In 2007, Forbes magazine valued the Gumball 3000 brand at over $200 million.
Drawing inspiration from the worlds of action sports and motorcar, Gumball 3000 Apparel was launched in 2006. Pictured here is one of their aptly named Pitstop snapback caps, presented to us by DAYMON GREEN.
