Professional baseball has been played in the Pittsburgh area since 1876. The teams of the era were “independents”, barnstorming throughout the region and not affiliated with any organized league, though they did have salaries and were run as a business organization. After much controversy of who was to own the team, Barney Dreyfuss bought the team and officially named them as the Pittsburgh Pirates. This “1974 All Star” snapback cap focuses on one of their most memorable games played.

Following the team brand color scheme, the front crown backdrop is White with Black back panels and a Yellow bill. A circle front embroidery occupies the front. The snaps in the back are Yellow. Get yours HERE.
