Straight from Manila, Philippines, homegrown headwear heavyweight WIP CAPS proudly presents the third iteration of one of their classics. They collaborated with California-based hip-hop artist Bambu for the Corruption Bambu snapback cap. The design is based on WIP Caps’ original 2010 release Corruption. The black dome houses a white front design of “Corruption”, stylized based on the “Compton” hat that legendary emcee Eazy E used back in the day. They used kelly green for the underbill. Stitched on it is a pair of crossed rifles along with a printing of the opening lines from Bambu’s track “Self Defense”, off his 2012 album “One Rifle Per Family”. At the right side is the customary WIP crown logo. Then the rifles appear again at the back, this time with the letters “e”, “o”, “m”, which stands for “Educate. Organize. Mobilize.”.
