The 90’s laid witness to a new era of skateboarding. Skaters shifted from ramps to the streets, inhabiting spots in large groups. One of the most popular crews back then is the EMB crew, based in the Embarcadero Park of San Francisco. From the group emerged professional skaters Mike Carroll and Rick Howard, who decided to start GIRL Skateboards in 1993. A couple of decades later, the company is stronger than ever, with apparel releases to accompany their skate hardgoods. Check out one of their latest releases, the Tourist State snapback cap. Choose between royal blue and sunshine yellow variations for this design. On the front panel is a diamond-shaped patch emblem featuring the Girl logo. On sale for $24 each at www.crailstore.com.
