GRIZZLY Griptape started out as a DIY skate brand by professional skater Torey Pudwill. At first, he bought griptapes and stamped them with a bear logo. He then sold these finished products to his friends, who passed word until more people also supported Pudwill’s project. But when his list of sponsors widened, he laid low with Grizzly. Years later, the brand reemerged under the Diamond Supply Co. wing. Now it’s a wildly-popular skate label. This time, they bring back their original icon with the OG Bear snapback hat. The hat is made of a 60/40 Cotton/Poly material. On the front panel is a raised embroidery of the OG Bear. At the back is a logo embroidery of the hats’ manufacturer, Starter. The snap locks are situated next to a woven flag label. Choose between silver, black, royal, and white variations for $40 each at www.grizzlygriptape.com.
